Dr. Harris received his medical degree from the Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans in 1999. He completed Family Medicine Residency at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, FL. in 2002, followed by a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Charlton Methodist Hospital in Dallas, TX. He practiced medicine in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho for nearly 10 years before he and his wife returned to Florida in 2011. While in Idaho, he competed in the Coeur d'Alene Ironman in 2005, 2006, and 2007. His interests outside of medicine include running, cooking, drumming, woodworking, and welding. He and his wife Heather have 4 children.
Dr. O'Connell graduated from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996. He completed his internship at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in 1997 and then went on to serve as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Army at Fort Rucker, Alabama until 2001. He has worked at Healthpoint Medical Group since 2004. Dr. O'Connell has a strong interest in cardiovascular medicine and also preventive medicine. He enjoys reading, traveling, and the beach. He has two children.
William A. (Tony) McClung, ARNP -BC received his medical training from the Air Force. He retired in 2014 after a 29 year career. His education includes two Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing (Excelsior College) and Secondary Education (University of North Alabama). He also has two Master Degrees in Education (Auburn University) and Nursing (Florida State University). He is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by The Colleges of Nursing. Tony lives in Panama City Beach with his wife Debbie and son Brad. His daughter Christie and nephew Lance live nearby in Pensacola, Florida.
Adam L. Richardson, A.R.N.P. -C graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Alabama. Upon receiving his degree, Adam went on to work as a nurse in the Emergency department and Intensive Care Unit of Baptist Memorial Hospital. Then in 2010 worked at Huntsville Hospital as a nurse in the Cardiac Care units for 4 years. This experience has resulted in certifications from the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support as well as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. Adam’s next accomplishment was to graduate with a Master in Nursing from Troy University in 2014. With that, he began his career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Adam joined Healthpoint Medical Group January 2017 where he enjoys caring for his patients on a daily basis as well as providing urgent care for our walk-in patient unit. In his downtime from this fast-paced career, Adam enjoys spending time with his wife and son as well as flying through the air as a private pilot.
Native of Panama City Beach, FL Crystal has been an RN for over 10 years, in various fields such as ER, Dialysis, and most recently at the Wound Care Center. She received her undergraduate from Grand Canyon University in 2015, and went on to obtain her MSN from South University in 2017. She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practioners as an Adult- Gerontology NP. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter Abbi. They love the beach, boating, and fishing.
Shannon Johnson P.A.-C is from Hartsville, South Carolina. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology at Newberry College in 2012. She then went on to receive her Master's in Physician Assistant studies from South College in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2016. She is certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed in Florida. She has a special interest in preventative care,
as well as women's wellness. She also enjoys traveling, exercising and spending time with friends and family.
